Job summary

RJ Martindale Plumbing & Heating is seeking experienced Senior Gas Heating Engineers to service, install and fault‑find across domestic heating systems in Preston and the surrounding area.

The role offers a salary of £38,500–£41,600 depending on experience, a company van and fuel card, 28 days holiday including bank holidays, Monday–Friday pattern, ongoing training and genuine long‑term progression.

Qualifications

• 5+ years domestic heating experience
• ACS qualifications (CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, CENWAT)
• Gas Safe Registered
• Strong fault-finding ability
• Broad heating systems knowledge
• Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Boiler installations, servicing and breakdown repairs
• Heating and hot water fault finding
• First fix through to final commissioning
• Domestic Gas Safety inspections
• Pipework and associated heating works
• Ongoing diagnostics and problem solving
• Working closely with a supportive office and management team

• Installations

The Role

You'll be working across domestic heating systems throughout Greater Manchester carrying out:

• Boiler installations, servicing and breakdown repairs
• Heating and hot water fault finding
• First fix through to final commissioning
• Domestic Gas Safety inspections
• Pipework and associated heating works
• Ongoing diagnostics and problem solving
• Working closely with a supportive office and management team

Essential

• 5+ years domestic heating experience
