Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is seeking an experienced Gas Engineer for a long-term, self-employed opportunity with potential to move into a permanent role. You will service, repair and install boilers and heating systems across domestic and commercial properties in Oxfordshire, including Carterton, Abingdon and Faringdon.

Flexibility to travel, own van and tools, and a proactive, safety-focused approach will help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Gas Safe registered with CCN1, CENWAT and CKR1.
• Minimum of two years' experience in domestic gas heating.
• Experience with unvented hot water (G3).
• Strong domestic experience covering servicing, repairs and fault-finding.
• Own van and tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive repairs and fault finding on domestic boilers, heating systems and appliances.
• Complete annual servicing, safety checks and planned maintenance (PPM).
• Install, replace and upgrade boilers and heating systems and components.
• Prepare void properties for new tenants with safety checks and repairs.
• Diagnose faults and provide effective first-time fixes.
• Maintain accurate job records and reports using tablet systems.

As a Gas Engineer you will be:

• Carrying out reactive repairs and fault finding on domestic boilers, heating systems and appliances.
• Completing annual servicing, safety checks and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) works.
• Installing, replacing and upgrading boilers, heating systems and associated components.
• Preparing void properties for new tenants by completing safety checks, repairs and remedial works.
• Diagnosing faults and providing effective solutions to achieve first-time fixes.
• Maintaining accurate job records, certification and reports using tablet systems.

This role is offering £31 per hour.
