Job summary

Citi in London is seeking a Senior FX Prime Brokerage and AI Engineer to shape next-level FX and equity solutions using cloud-native technologies and CI/CD practices.

You will design architectures, implement production-grade features, and collaborate with traders, quants and product teams to deliver data-driven, low-latency systems while mentoring others and driving best practices across the department.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in STEM required.
• Extensive software engineering experience with Java and Spring.
• Strong understanding of ultra‑low‑latency development practices.
• Experience with FX systems preferred.
• Experience with AI coding tools and production-grade apps.
• Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka/Solace/MQ) and caching tech.

Responsibilities

• Develop Prime Brokerage solutions for FX and Equities using cloud-native tech.
• Drive system architecture design and CI/CD workflows.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices across teams.
• Collaborate with FX traders, Quants and Product teams to translate requirements into data-driven solutions.
• Provide 3rd line support and contribute to SDLC improvements.
