Job summary

Citi London is seeking a Senior FX Prime Brokerage and AI Engineer to shape a team delivering next-level FX/Equities solutions using cloud-native technologies and CI/CD. You will work across FX technology, Quants and Product to translate complex requirements into data-driven, scalable software.

The role combines hands-on Java development, low-latency practices, and exposure to AI tooling, with mentoring responsibilities and 3rd line production support.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a STEM discipline.
• Hands on software engineering experience with Java and Spring.
• Understanding of ultra-low-latency development practices.
• Experience with FX is highly preferred.
• Experience delivering production-grade applications with AI coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Shape the team toward next-level solutions for the business.
• Develop Prime Brokerage solutions across FX and Equities using cloud-native tech and CI/CD.
• Design system architecture and work with end-users to enhance deliverables.
• Collaborate with FX Prime Brokerage, Quants and Product teams to translate needs into data-driven solutions.
• Develop, test, and deploy new features; continuously improve SDLC and product quality.
• Provide 3rd line production support and mentor junior staff.
• Contribute to best practices and cross-team transparency.
