Citi in London is seeking an experienced Java engineer to own end-to-end delivery of high-performance FX risk management applications. You will design scalable, low-latency systems, setting engineering standards and serving as a technical reference for the team.

In an agile environment, you will translate complex requirements into robust code, collaborate with quants and traders, and leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining security and quality.

Formación

• Proven hands-on Java development with focus on Core Java and multithreading in high-load systems.
• Strong understanding of JVM performance optimization, memory profiling, and GC tuning.
• Experience with distributed systems and in-memory computing concepts.
• Production experience with Apache Ignite; strong MongoDB and Oracle SQL skills.
• Experience with messaging technologies like Kafka and Solace; Linux scripting; cloud deployments.
• Great emphasis on TDD and release practices; readiness for L3 production support.
