Job summary

The Harlequins Foundation is seeking a Senior Fundraising and Engagement Manager to shape and deliver a step change in its fundraising and supporter engagement. Based at Twickenham, the role is hybrid (four days in the office, one remote) with a salary of £45,000.

The successful candidate will lead income growth across individual giving, major donors and trusts, build pipelines, steward major donors, oversee grants, and shape marketing and communications to support the Foundation’s mission to

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior fundraising role with income growth.
• Experience across major donors, individual giving and/or trusts and grants.
• Experience developing or scaling a fundraising function.
• Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
• Strategic, commercially minded and entrepreneurial.
• Strong storytelling ability and data-informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead the fundraising and engagement strategy, building individual giving, major donor and trusts and foundations income
• Set up strong pipelines, targets and performance frameworks
• Personally cultivate, solicit and steward major donors and high net worth individuals
• Oversee the trusts and grants programme, including funding applications and reporting
• Provide strategic oversight of marketing and communications and develop the case for support
• Design high-quality supporter journeys and build a network of ambassadors
• Build the systems, data and tools for a data-led fundraising function
