Job summary

The Harlequins Foundation is seeking a motivated Fundraising Executive to ensure supporters have a positive, rewarding experience and to support the fundraising team with events and campaigns.

You will manage the supporter journey, build relationships with donors, community groups, local businesses and volunteers, and provide administrative support with potential career progression as the Foundation grows.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
• At least two years’ experience in a similar admin or events-based professional role.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
• Able to work some weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for supporters and donors.
• Support people fundraising for the Foundation, including challenge event participants, schools, clubs and community fundraisers.
• Help deliver matchday activity, including the 50/50 Raffle.
• Support Foundation and third-party events and grow the challenge events portfolio.
• Develop and deliver a community fundraising programme with the Partnerships & Events Manager.
• Maintain donor records on the fundraising database and manage auction and prize fulfilment.
• Represent the Foundation internally and externally as an ambassador.
