Aztec Group in St Helier is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to manage accounting for a portfolio of fund structures, including carry/equalisation and LPAs. You will lead client calls, assist with audits, and mentor junior staff while enhancing processes.

The role combines hands-on accounting with collaboration across teams, supported by a strong internal control framework and Excel-based working papers. Generous benefits and hybrid working are offered.

Responsabilidades

• Complete all aspects of accounting for a portfolio of fund structures, including equalisation and carry calculations.
• Interpret and apply more complex LPA requirements to accounting processes.
• Provide assistance with completion of more complex audit queries.
• Take an increasing lead in regular client calls and correspondence.
• Undertake reviews of work produced by junior team members.
• Maintain internal control frameworks and accurate records in systems and Excel.
• Deal with preparation and reconciliation of periodic direct and indirect tax returns.
• Mentor junior staff under supervision of senior staff.
• Support fund administration processes as required.

You will support business and people growth, contributing towards team initiatives and mentoring newer team members, to enable Aztec's future ambitions.Key Role Responsibilities:• Complete all aspects of accounting matters for a portfolio of fund structures, including the accurate preparation of equalisation and carry calculations• Interpret and apply more complex LPA (Limited Partnership Agreement) requirements to accounting processes• Provide assistance with completion of more complex audit queries• Take an increasing lead in regular client calls and correspondence• Undertake soft reviews of the work produced by more junior team members• Ensure Aztec internal control frameworks are followed in full• Maintain accurate records on internal systems and Microsoft Excel, working paper schedules for all aspects of accounting• Deal with the preparation and reconciliation of periodic direct and indirect tax returns to the extent relevant• Act as a mentor to junior staff under the supervision of senior staff• Support with and/or complete fund administration processes as required.
