Job summary

remotestar-team is seeking an engineering leader to guide a fullstack team in a hybrid setup the United Kingdom. You will drive delivery against the product roadmap, ensure high-quality software, and mentor engineers across backend and frontend domains.

Role requires strong experience in React Native, Java, Spring, TypeScript, and cloud-native microservices on AWS. You will lead design, security, and scalable architecture while collaborating with product and groups across the organization.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in application development.
• Expertise in microservice architecture and cloud native design.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the fullstack team using agile practices.
• Be accountable for delivery of the roadmap with Product counterparts.
• Ensure teams deliver to commitments and maintain high engineering standards.
• Own production quality and provide L3 support with your teams.
• Mentor junior developers and help them grow.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using TypeScript, Java, Spring, and Maven.
