Job summary

Forward Role is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join a national security project. You will design, develop and test bespoke software using Java, TypeScript, JavaScript and React, in a hybrid role with a base office and occasional client engagement in London.

You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deploy to AWS and Azure, and drive the full software lifecycle from concept to delivery and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with strong Java, TypeScript, JavaScript and React skills.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and deploying to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Ability to obtain UK security clearance (British citizenship and five years' residency).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test bespoke software solutions.
• Utilize open-source libraries across a varied tech stack.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Deploy to public and private clouds (AWS, Azure).
• End-to-end software lifecycle from concept to delivery and maintenance.
• Lead teams and engage with clients depending on experience.
