Job summary

Gazelle Global is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join a hybrid delivery team, focusing on Node.js and AWS. You will contribute to the design, development and maintenance of citizen-facing services, ensuring reliability, security and performance across the stack.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on full-stack development across backend, databases and frontend.
• Experience with Angular or modern frontend frameworks.
• Practical AWS serverless experience: Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, S3.
• Experience designing REST APIs, microservices and event-driven systems.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DocumentDB) and IaC (Terraform).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and AWS EKS.
• CI/CD pipelines experience, preferably GitLab, and automated testing (Jest).
• Active or eligible for SC clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications using Node.js, Java, Spring Boot and modern frontend frameworks (Angular).
• Develop secure, scalable cloud-native apps on AWS and/or Azure, including serverless services.
• Build REST APIs and microservices; implement event-driven solutions with Kafka-like systems.
• Create and maintain frontend components and user journeys towards MVP.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Agile teams to deliver robust digital services.
• Apply best practices for code quality, security, accessibility and performance.
