Job summary

Virtual Hire Staffing in Bristol is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to design and ship features across React frontends and AWS serverless backends. You will own end-to-end delivery from investigation to production in a high-traffic environment.

Strong Node.js and TypeScript skills with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and IaC are essential. The role is permanent, hybrid (2 days on-site in Bristol) with a 15% bonus plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong Node.js and TypeScript expertise with AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
• Experience with infrastructure as code using CDK or SST.
• Proven testing discipline with Vitest or similar.
• Experience in a monorepo and GitLab CI.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features across high-traffic financial transfer journeys.
• Develop full-stack frontends in React and serverless backends in AWS.
• Own issues end-to-end from investigation to production.
• Drive CI/CD improvements and address tech debt.
