Job summary

Legal & General is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to help shape and deliver modern cloud-based solutions across the full software delivery lifecycle. You will work with product owners, engineers and stakeholders to turn ideas into impactful, scalable applications.

You will mentor colleagues, drive engineering excellence and contribute to architectural decisions while championing secure software development practices. This role offers a collaborative culture and strong career progression.

Qualifications

• Strong experience developing software using Java and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience building RESTful microservices with Spring Boot or Node.js.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and containerisation (Azure preferred).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
• Familiar with clean architecture and test-driven development.
• Agile experience (Scrum or Kanban).
