Job summary

Legal & General is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join the Group Protection technology team in London. You will shape and deliver cloud-based solutions across the full software delivery lifecycle, collaborating with product owners and engineers to turn ideas into scalable, secure applications.

Working in a supportive, collaborative team, you’ll mentor others, help improve engineering practices, and contribute to architectural decisions that reduce technical debt while enhancing platform

Qualifications

• Experience building and supporting RESTful microservices in Spring Boot, Node.js or similar frameworks.
• Cloud technologies experience, ideally Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices, preferably including GitHub Actions.
• Strong knowledge of software design principles, clean architecture and test-driven development.
• Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum or Kanban.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to a collaborative, inclusive team culture.
