Job summary

Heidi is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to own features end-to-end—from data model to frontend. You will ship React/TypeScript interfaces and Python services, balancing browser and server logic for performance and scalability.

You will design APIs, manage data modeling with MongoDB/Redis, and build high-throughput systems. You’ll work with clinicians, product, design and AI engineers to ship patient-ready workflows at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, frontend and backend.
• Strong React and TypeScript, Next.js or comparable framework.
• Python in production: backend services.
• Hands-on MongoDB and Redis with data modeling.
• Experience building message queues at scale.
• API design: security, versioning, performance.
• Security knowledge on client/server contracts.
• Experience integrating with third-party systems.

Responsibilities

• Own features from database to browser: data model, Python service, React/TypeScript interface.
• Build fast, accessible React interfaces.
• Design, build and run high-performance backend services in Python.
• Develop and manage message queue systems for real-time data.
• Shape cloud infrastructure for scalable features.
• Collaborate with product/design/AI to ship workflows.
• Write maintainable, testable code.
