Job summary

Perci Health, the UK’s largest virtual cancer clinic, seeks a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to advance a live platform used by patients. You will help shift how the platform is built, embracing AI-assisted coding, reuse over rewrite, and a strong focus on safety, testing, and regulatory compliance.

This is a remote-first, high-impact engineering role. You will join a small, senior team reporting to the CTO, contributing to end‑to‑end delivery across data models, APIs, and frontend work, while

Qualifications

• Around 6+ years building software end to end.
• Strong system design and architecture experience.
• Practical experience with distributed systems and third‑party integrations.
• Experience using AI coding agents on production work.
• Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively in a small team.
• Desirable: healthcare or regulated industry familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship features end to end from data model to frontend.
• Design and build robust APIs in TypeScript/Node.js.
• Architect resilient distributed systems with integration points.
• Work with FHIR R4 resources and Medplum data models.
• Contribute to frontend rewrite from Flutter to React.
• Perform testing and contribute to QA/DevOps tasks.
• Ensure software meets regulatory requirements as a medical device.
