Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Senior Full-stack Engineer for Core AI Services in Cambridge, UK,hybrid role. You will design and scale AI-enabled platform services, agentic workflows, and public APIs, working in an agile Scrum team to deliver secure, production-grade software.

The ideal candidate has deep experience across the full stack, cloud-native backends, and modern web frameworks, with a passion for AI engineering patterns and collaboration with global R&D teams.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of software engineering experience across the full stack.
• Strong backend experience (.NET/C# a plus) and Angular.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerised deployments.
• RESTful API design and full lifecycle management.
• Security focus: OAuth2/OIDC/RBAC and privacy-by-design.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, cloud-native services on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and maintain clean, responsive web UIs and developer tools using Angular.
• Develop secure public APIs and SDKs for internal and external use.
• Drive feature implementation from design to production with emphasis on quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across data pipelines and service APIs.
• Embed robust security controls and privacy-by-design across AI services.
• Contribute to design reviews, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers to elevate code quality.
