Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (Platform - Identity) to own the user-facing login, signup, OAuth, account security, and multi-factor authentication for Coinbase customers. This role leads end-to-end frontend delivery, shapes the Native vs. Webview strategy, and mentors engineers as the team scales.

You will drive architecture decisions, improve reliability and velocity, and collaborate across a strong cross-functional team to deliver secure identity experiences.

Formación

• 5+ years of production frontend engineering experience with React and TypeScript, including independently leading end-to-end delivery of complex projects.
• Authored and driven technical design documents through cross-functional review and implementation on major initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve systemic technical debt with measurable improvements.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading team rituals (on-call rotations, code reviews, incident response).
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and improve workflow efficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end frontend projects from design through deployment and monitoring for login, signup, OAuth, account security, and multi-user/multi-organization support.
• Author and review technical design documents, breaking down ambiguous initiatives into executable plans for the team.
• Drive identity's Native vs. Webview architecture strategy for authentication surfaces, evaluating trade-offs across latency, reliability, and user experience.
• Identify and resolve technical debt proactively across the team's codebase.
• Lead team rituals including on-call, code review, and incident response, and mentor engineers on frontend craft and ownership.
