Qualifications

• Commercial experience as a Frontend Software Developer.
• Strong HTML/CSS, TypeScript and modern frontend practices.
• Experience with React ecosystem including Redux and React-Router.
• Experience with Node.js for high-traffic apps (Express.js/Sails/Koa).
• Awareness of UI performance, accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.
• Exposure to Lean/Agile and TDD/BDD practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement scalable frontend systems using JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Profile and optimise frontend code for performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate with product stakeholders to translate requirements into tasks and code.
• Ensure CI/CD practices and automated testing are applied across the frontend codebase.
• Support production systems and participate in incident resolution and root cause analysis.
• Share knowledge and mentor others within the engineering team.
