Qualifications

• Commercial experience as a Frontend Software Developer
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, React and Node
• Experience with modern frontend tooling and CI/CD practices
• Experience with REST API and GraphQL endpoints
• Understanding of accessibility, performance, and responsive design
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest/Cypress/Playwright)
• Experience with version control and collaboration in DevOps environments
• Ability to translate requirements into tasks and code
• Ability to mentor others and lead group discussions on system design

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement scalable frontend systems using React/TypeScript
• Profile and optimise frontend code for performance and maintainability
• Collaborate with product stakeholders to translate needs into features
• Drive CI/CD and automated testing practices
• Provide production support and root-cause analysis
• Mentor and share knowledge with the engineering team
• Produce proofs of concepts for new tools and approaches
• Contribute to system design discussions and architectural decisions
