Job summary

Clear Street is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Payments team to scale and modernise our global payments infrastructure. You will build reliable, API-driven systems that integrate with banks and gateways, reducing manual processes and enabling new business lines.

Qualifications

Master Java and Spring Boot; comfortable with TypeScript/React, Go and Python.
Experience driving technical decisions and owning large-scale engineering.

Responsibilities

Engineer highly reliable, API-driven payment systems that streamline operations and support our global expansion.
Translate product and design requirements into clean, maintainable and well-tested components.
Collaborate closely with product managers, business, operations, designers and back-end engineers to deliver high-quality experiences.
Identify and resolve performance, accessibility, and usability issues across the application.
Participate in code reviews, contribute to shared component libraries, and help uphold our engineering standards.
Support the operational health of your features and help maintain a high SLA.
