Job summary

M‑Tech360 is seeking a Principal Network Security Engineer (DDoS / BGP) to support European customers from a remote UK/Ireland base, with travel. The role demands fluency in French and English and deep expertise in network security, DDoS mitigation and visibility technologies.

You will lead complex deployments, troubleshoot routing and security issues, and collaborate with engineering and product teams to resolve escalations, while guiding customers through upgrades and incident response.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP and network routing is required.
• Experience with DDoS detection and mitigation technologies.
• Understanding of network traffic analysis and visibility technologies (NetFlow).
• Working knowledge of Linux and scripting for automation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical expert for customers deploying and operating network security platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex networking, routing and security issues.
• Support DDoS detection, mitigation and incident response.
• Reproduce customer issues in lab environments to diagnose faults and software defects.
• Optimise and tune deployed solutions to improve performance and security.
• Plan and support software upgrades, maintenance and technical changes.
• Work closely with internal engineering, product and support teams to resolve escalations.
• Provide technical guidance and training to customer engineering teams.
• Participate in on-call support for critical incidents when required.
