Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited in London is seeking a Network Engineer to support highly available, low-latency network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments within a leading global trading environment. You will act as escalation point for the Network Operations team and troubleshoot complex routing and security issues.

The role covers BGP, MPLS, firewalls, and network automation, with a focus on latency-sensitive operations and production connectivity.

Qualifications

• Strong routing & switching experience (BGP, Multicast).
• Strong firewall experience (Any next gen firewalls).
• Experience in high-availability or latency-sensitive environments.
• Linux/Unix skills – desirable.
• Python, scripting or network automation – desirable.

Responsibilities
