Zusammenfassung

Freight Personnel is seeking a Senior Freight Operations Coordinator for our client’s office in St Albans, working Monday to Friday 08:00–17:30 with one Saturday morning every four weeks 08:30–11:00. You will coordinate freight movements across Europe and the UK, and communicate complex instructions to customers and suppliers.

The role requires road freight or international logistics experience, strong communication, negotiation, and attention to detail, plus a professional, energetic approach.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in road freight, international transport or logistics.
• Excellent communication skills (Written & Verbal).
• Professional, positive and helpful attitude.
• Commercial acumen with negotiation skills to increase turnover and profit.
• Presentable, energetic and enthusiastic.
• Strong organisational skills.

Aufgaben

• Organising the movement of freight across Europe and the UK.
• Communicating complex instructions in writing and verbally to Customers and Suppliers.
• Negotiating to achieve cost-effective solutions.
• Providing high standards of Customer service.
• Processing Customer orders using the in-house operating system.
• Compiling customs documentation for shipments to/from Europe.
• Building strong relationships with clients through verbal engagement.
• Coordinating with other departments to follow internal procedures.
