Job summary

ESG seeks a Senior Finance Business Partner to lead FP&A across Sales and Marketing in Chorley. You will shape growth strategies, provide commercial challenge and translate objectives into robust financial plans.

You will partner with Sales, Marketing and Revenue Operations to improve forecasting accuracy, support budgeting and deliver insightful analysis to senior leadership. Hybrid working and career development are available.

Qualifications

Significant experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering.
Demonstrable experience partnering senior stakeholders across Sales, Marketing or Commercial functions.
Experience working within a SaaS, software or technology business.
Strong understanding of Go-To-Market operating models and commercial growth drivers.
Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes.
Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Ability to influence decision-making and provide effective commercial challenge.
Experience operating in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Responsibilities

Serve as the senior FP&A partner to Sales and Marketing leadership teams.
Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes across Go-To-Market functions.
Provide strategic financial insight and recommendations to support revenue growth, profitability and business performance.
Partner with stakeholders to evaluate commercial strategies, pricing initiatives, market opportunities and investment decisions.
Support annual planning processes, ensuring sales and marketing strategies are translated into financially robust plans.
Develop and maintain financial models supporting revenue forecasting, customer acquisition, retention and growth initiatives.
Analyse performance against SaaS metrics including ARR, MRR, CAC, LTV, pipeline and retention metrics.
Provide clear analysis of business performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
Challenge forecasts to improve planning accuracy and decision quality.
Support investment appraisal and business case development for growth initiatives.
Partner with Revenue Operations to improve forecasting methodologies and reporting.
Deliver high-quality reporting for senior leadership and the exec team.
Drive continuous improvement across FP&A processes and planning frameworks.
Coach and support Finance Business Partners and FP&A analysts.
Contribute to wider Finance transformation initiatives.
