Job summary

Energy Services Group, LLC. is seeking a Finance Business Partner to support FP&A activities in Chorley. The role focuses on forecasting, budgeting, reporting and strategic finance for Product & Engineering teams within a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance or Financial Planning roles.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and management reporting processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
• Experience translating operational activities into meaningful financial insight.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders positively.
• Experience working in a software, SaaS or technology-driven business environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary FP&A contact for Product & Engineering teams, building relationships and providing financial insight.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for Product & Engineering costs.
• Maintain and develop rolling forecast model with robust assumptions.
• Deliver monthly variance analysis identifying risks, opportunities and drivers.
• Produce and present KPIs and financial reporting to stakeholders.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders on resource requirements and investments.
• Support business case development and investment appraisal activities.
• Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis for decision-making.
• Monitor expenditure, headcount and resources against budget.
• Collaborate to improve forecast accuracy and financial accountability.
• Support annual budgeting and periodic reforecasting.
