Overview:

We're seeking a Senior FP&A Manager - Transformation Lead with deep sector knowledge and a track record of success in regulated environments to drive a critical project within a leading insurance group. This role will focus on streamlining the system across Group Finance while optimizing processes, controls, and systems in line with the insurance sector's demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transformation Leadership: Oversee the delivery of a finance-wide initiative to reduce the Working Day Timetable, improving speed and accuracy across reporting cycles in Group Finance.
• Insurance Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with Heads of Finance across underwriting, claims, actuarial, and shared services teams to capture and map reporting processes and regulatory deliverables, using workflow documentation and activity trackers.
• Process Design & Optimization: Lead workshops and mapping sessions to analyze current processes and identify automation, standardization, and industry best practices, especially concerning the OneStream system.
• System Implementation: Lead the implementation of a tailored in-house system for insurance finance teams, covering monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting timelines.
• Executive Reporting & Governance: Provide updates to executive stakeholders, highlighting time savings, action plans, and dependencies, fostering a data-driven culture of continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CAANZ or equivalent), with FP&A experience
• Proven experience in FP&A transformation within the insurance sector
• Experience in a listed company
• Knowledge of SOX compliance frameworks and internal control optimization
• Deep understanding of Group Finance operations, including closing, forecasting, and regulatory reporting specific to insurance
• Strong systems experience, especially with OneStream (preferred)
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders across finance, actuarial, and IT
• Comfortable in agile, dynamic environments with a solutions-oriented approach
