Job description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior FP&A Change Management Specialist to lead business transformation activities under TAP20 across the Finance function. This is a 10-12-month Fixed Term Contract.

Reporting to the FP&A Programme Lead, Project Leads, and FP&A teams, this role will drive change management for the Finance workstream, defining, designing, and executing strategic engagement and interventions across diverse stakeholders.

The programme includes initiatives such as implementing a new financial planning system, improving existing processes and system capabilities, and delivering business-wide training to enhance budget accountability.

This role supports Thames Water's foundational capabilities as part of the Turnaround Plan.

Base Location: Hybrid, Reading

Responsibilities as Senior FP&A Change Manager
  • Analyze and address organizational, cultural, and behavioral impacts of change initiatives.
  • Align Finance leaders to a common vision, goals, priorities, and change outcomes.
  • Define communication and engagement tactics, channels, and forums for Finance teams.
  • Define business readiness criteria, assess blockers, and mobilize super users for system implementation.
  • Deliver end-user training to maximize change adoption.
  • Define metrics to measure, track, and report on change adoption and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Expertise in applying multiple change management methodologies, including agile and system implementation change.
  • Ability to align change management plans with organizational strategies and measure impact using KPIs.
  • Experience leading change initiatives within large Finance functions.
  • Proven skills in developing and delivering structured change communications for various audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and work under pressure.
  • SAP Analytics Cloud implementation exposure is highly preferred.
