Turnitin, a global education innovator, is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst in the United Kingdom with a remote-first culture. You will partner with Technology and Product to provide high-quality financial insight and drive better business decisions.

The role covers budgets, forecasts, reporting, and ad-hoc projects, partnering with the Accounting team to ensure accurate costs and robust financial controls. A fast-paced environment requires hands-on analysis and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ yrs relevant work experience in a Finance department.
• CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified/Part Qualified.
• Strong Excel skills and aptitude for using other reporting tools and software.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, resourcefulness, and ability to follow-through.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Self-starter with ability to work cross-functionally and as well as independently.
• Strong team player and ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Accounting team to ensure costs are recorded accurately.
• Review monthly results and investigate unusual movement and variances.
• Develop a strong understanding of underlying financial transactions and ensure reported results reflect business activity.
• Provide end-to-end financial business partnering with expert financial advice and challenge management.
• Preparation and ownership of monthly forecasting and management reports.
• Provide financial insight and challenge by building relationships with senior managers and other departments.
• Support stakeholders with financial analysis to aid decision making.
• Support annual budget process for business areas.
• Maintain and enhance financial controls and reporting accuracy.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Analyze spend, headcount, vendor costs across Technology and Product and identify risks/opps.
• Translate complex financial information into actionable recommendations for non-finance.
• Build relationships with Technology and Product leadership as trusted advisor.
