Job summary

This hands-on, customer-facing role is billable with ~20% travel; you will work with engineering, product, and developer relations to shape strategic priorities and deliver customer value through robust solutions on the Databricks platform.

Qualifications

• Experience in data engineering, data platforms, or software engineering.
• Proficient in Python, Scala, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Deep experience with distributed computing using Spark.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments.
• Knowledge of MLOps, ML/AI models, and AI APIs.
• Ability to design production-grade end-to-end data architectures.
• Experience delivering technical projects with measurable outcomes.
• Excellent documentation and whiteboarding skills.
• Experience with enterprise clients and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead production-grade solution delivery on customer projects.
• Design reference architectures and data ingestion/ML integration.
• Guide strategic customers through end-to-end design and deployment.
• Own architecture decisions ensuring security and scalability.
• Collaborate with Databricks teams and customers to deliver engagements.
• Provide product feedback and rapid issue resolution with support.
• Embed with customer teams across technical ICs to executives.
• Create accelerators and best practices to scale impact.
