Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is looking for an experienced Account Manager to lead facilities management delivery for a Birmingham estate. You will take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the account, ensuring that hard and soft services are delivered safely, efficiently and to an exceptional standard.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar Account Manager or Contract Manager role.
• Strong experience within the facilities management industry.
• Excellent commercial awareness, with demonstrable experience of managing a P&L.
• The ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and create a high-performance culture.
• Strong communication, stakeholder-management and customer-relationship skills.
• A proactive approach to operational improvement, innovation and account development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of hard services and the management of soft-service subcontractors.
• Coordinate site teams and supply-chain partners to achieve contractual objectives and service standards.
• Build trusted customer relationships through regular progress meetings, site visits and proactive communication.
• Take accountability for the account P&L, protecting agreed margins and identifying opportunities for commercial growth.
• Lead and develop a diverse team of soft-services professionals, M&E engineers and contract support colleagues.
• Support the development of standard operating procedures, emergency arrangements and contingency plans.
• Promote a positive health and safety culture and ensure appropriate policies and working practices are regularly reviewed.
• Identify opportunities to introduce new services, improve account performance and increase profitability.
• Support the long-term retention and successful renewal of the contract.
