Bristol NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a HCPC registered healthcare scientist to join the flow cytometry team in Immunology at Southmead, with potential travel to the Bristol site. The post is full-time, 37.5 hours per week and may require out-of-hours work.

The role includes technical and managerial responsibilities supporting immune deficiency services and SIHMDS, contributing to regional and national services, and participating in clinical trials. UK registration is required.

Qualifikationen

• Postgraduate level qualification equivalent to Fellowship of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, MSc or equivalent experience.
• Specialist training/experience in flow cytometry including haemato-oncology and Immunodeficiency.
• High level of theoretical and practical knowledge of relevant techniques and their clinical applications
• Knowledge of MRD analysis reporting
• Ability to present data and cases to stakeholders

Aufgaben

• Provide technical and scientific support for Flow Cytometry Service for Immune deficiency services and SIHMDS
• Provide managerial support Flow Cytometry Service for North Bristol NHS Trust (Primary + Secondary Immune Deficiency and SIHMDS)
• Work with the Head of Service to provide an efficient Haemato-oncology and Immunology service for Bristol NHS Foundation Trust (BFT) – Southmead Site
• Participate in BFT SIHMDS service (reporting/case review/MDT attendance)
• Participate in SIHMDS service clinical trials
