Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is inviting applications for HCPC registered Biomedical Scientists to join the Immunology department, focusing on the flow cytometry section. The role involves routine and specialist diagnostics, staff training, and potential out-of-hours work within a dynamic NHS environment.

The successful candidate will contribute to service development and ensure accurate sample processing and results in line with SOPs, maintaining high professional standards and CPD commitments.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered BMS with current registration.
• BSc honours in Biomedical Science or equivalent.
• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).

Responsabilités

• Provide routine and specialist diagnostic laboratory service in the Flow section of Immunology.
• Participate in the training and development of other staff within the department.
• May be required to work outside of routine hours.
• Contribute to service development to meet user requirements.
• Receive and analyse samples in accordance with SOPs and policies.
