Job summary

The Bristol NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a HCPC registered healthcare scientist to join the flow section of the Immunology department at Southmead. The post provides a wide range of clinical services for Bristol, acute and primary care, and regional and national services.

You will work with the Head of Service and the Blood Sciences team to deliver Haemato-oncology and Immunology services, support SIHMDS, participate in MDTs, and contribute to clinical trials.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered healthcare scientist.
• Experience in Flow Cytometry.
• Experience in Haematology or Immunology laboratory services.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and scientific support for Flow Cytometry Service for Immune deficiency services and SIHMDS.
• Provide managerial support for Flow Cytometry Service for North Bristol NHS Trust (Primary + Secondary Immune Deficiency and SIHMDS).
• Collaborate with the Head of Service and Blood Sciences management to deliver Haemato-oncology and Immunology services at Southmead.
• Participate in SIHMDS service reporting, case review, MDT attendance and regional MDT/SIHMDS meetings.
• Participate in SIHMDS service clinical trials.
