Tetra Tech is seeking a Senior or Principal Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to lead flood risk assessments, drainage strategies and sustainable water management for UK development and infrastructure projects.

Hybrid working across the UK is supported. You will provide clear, practical, and technically robust advice, manage project workstreams, and mentor junior colleagues within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Experience in flood risk assessment for planning, environmental and infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK flood risk policy, planning guidance and drainage requirements.
• Experience with Environment Agency, LLFAs and water companies is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Lead and contribute to Flood Risk Assessments and drainage strategies.
• Provide technically robust advice for due diligence, masterplanning and planning submissions.
• Mentor junior colleagues and coordinate inputs across multidisciplinary teams.
• Engage with clients, planning authorities and other stakeholders.
