Job summary

Construction Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Flat Roofing Contracts Manager to deliver roofing projects from award to completion. You will combine technical roof knowledge with strong commercial, organisational and people-management skills on a variety of contracts.

You will manage safety and quality, coordinate labour, materials and subcontractors, liaise with clients and stakeholders, monitor costs and milestones, and support handovers to the client.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing flat roofing contracts or projects.
• Strong technical understanding of commercial flat roofing systems.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong commercial and financial awareness.
• Experience leading subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Good understanding of construction programmes and project delivery.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage flat roofing contracts from award to practical completion.
• Oversee commercial and operational performance of projects.
• Review contract docs, drawings, specs and programmes.
• Plan and coordinate labour, materials, plant and subcontractors.
• Liaise with clients, main contractors and project teams.
• Attend site and progress meetings as required.
• Monitor programmes, progress and costs.
• Ensure works meet specifications and quality standards.
• Identify and manage variations and commercial opportunities.
• Prepare valuations, variations and supporting docs.
