Job summary

Building Careers UK Ltd is recruiting a Contracts Manager for roofing and cladding in the Cheshire / North West region. You will deliver multiple commercial and industrial roofing projects from award to completion, coordinating site teams and subcontractors while maintaining programme, quality and cost controls.

The role requires extensive experience in roofing contracts, strong client-facing and leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage budgets, risk and schedules across a varied

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial/industrial roofing is essential.
• Proven ability to manage multiple roofing projects end-to-end.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
• Experience leading Site Managers, Supervisors and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple roofing projects from pre-start to completion.
• Take responsibility for delivery, programme, quality and cost.
• Coordinate labour, materials, plant and subcontract resources.
• Work closely with clients, main contractors and project stakeholders.
• Attend pre-start, progress and client meetings and monitor programmes.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budgets.
• Handle variations, valuations, applications for payment and final accounts.
• Collaborate with estimating, procurement, design and operations teams.
