Hill McGlynn Recruitment Limited is seeking a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial and contractual aspects of fit out projects from pre-construction through final account. The role emphasizes budgets, cost control and value for money, working closely with Project Managers, site teams and clients.

The successful candidate will have proven fit out experience, strong IT and reporting skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience as Quantity Surveyor in fit out sector.
• Strong knowledge of valuations, variations, change control and final accounts.
• Experience managing budgets, cost plans and forecasts.
• Excellent numerical and analytical ability with strong IT and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial responsibility for fit out projects from pre-construction through to final account.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans and forecasts.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, enquiries, analyses and appointments.
• Prepare and issue subcontract documentation and assess applications for payment.
• Produce regular cost reports and commercial forecasts and monitor expenditure.
