Job summary

You will lead commercial management on fit-out projects, from pre-construction through final account, coordinating with project managers, site teams and clients to ensure projects stay on budget and deliver value. Qualifications

• Previous Quantity Surveying experience within the fit out sector is essential.
• Strong knowledge of valuations, variations, change control and final accounts.
• Experience managing project budgets and cost plans.
• Experience with subcontractor procurement and package management.
• Excellent numerical and analytical ability.
• Ability to communicate with clients and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Taking commercial responsibility for fit out projects from pre-construction through to final account.
• Preparing and managing project budgets, cost plans and forecasts.
• Managing subcontractor procurement, including tender enquiries, analysis and appointments.
• Preparing and issuing subcontract documentation.
• Assessing subcontractor applications for payment.
• Managing variations and change control throughout project delivery.
• Producing regular cost reports and commercial forecasts.
• Monitoring project expenditure against budgets.
• Negotiating and agreeing final accounts.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and subcontractors.
