Job summary

Promni Health seeks a full-time First Contact Physiotherapist to work on-site in a primary care network of GP practices. The role covers MSK assessment and management at first contact, including investigations, referrals and self-management plans.

Applicants need HCPC and CSP registration and at least five years' postgraduate experience, with three years in MSK and active CPD aligned to advanced practice.

Qualifications

• Qualified physiotherapist with degree in physiotherapy and HCPC/CSP registration.
• Active CPD portfolio aligned to advanced MSK practice.
• Minimum 5 years postgraduate experience, 3 years in MSK.

Responsibilities

• Independently assess, diagnose and manage MSK presentations at first contact.
• Request imaging/tests and make referrals when needed.
• Develop self-management plans and support behavioural change.
• Utilise full scope of practice including prescribing and injections where qualified.
• Record utilisation data and participate in audits and service improvement.
