Job summary

Nicoll Curtin is recruiting a Senior BI Developer / Principal BI Developer in Scotland (Glasgow or Edinburgh). This hybrid role focuses on enterprise-scale financial data and reconciliation solutions for clients in FinTech, banking and asset management.

You will combine SQL, data analysis and stakeholder-facing delivery to automate processes, identify exceptions and improve reporting accuracy, while mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and data analysis/manipulation skills.
• Experience working with complex financial or transactional datasets.
• Financial Services, FinTech, Payments, Insurance, Banking, or SaaS background.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience gathering requirements and delivering business-focused data solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
