Government Recruitment Service in Glasgow is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and lead data flows connecting operational systems with analytics and BI platforms. The role emphasizes cloud financial management, focusing on AWS and Azure expenditure, cost allocation and forecasting.

You will mentor junior team members, collaborate with Data Science and Product Owners, and help set the service technology direction while promoting an agile way of working in a data-driven environment.

Formación

• Strong finance experience is the primary requirement.
• Relevant technical skills can be developed in the role.

Responsabilidades

• Design and lead the implementation of complex data flows to connect operational systems, data for analytics and BI systems.
• Mentor junior team members and promote collaboration and an agile approach.
• Support financial management and control of significant AWS and Azure expenditure, including cost allocation, budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, reconciliation, recharge and chargeback.
• Use financial and cloud consumption data to improve management information, reporting and dashboards.
