Zusammenfassung

UK Home Office is recruiting a Senior Data Engineer to design and lead complex data flows connecting operational systems with analytics and BI. The role sits in the Central FinOps team, focusing on cloud financial management and data-enabled processes.

You will work with AWS and Azure expenditure data, support budgeting and forecasting, and help improve management information, dashboards and automation, while mentoring juniors in an agile environment.

Aufgaben

• Analysing problems and experimenting with possible solutions to identify root causes and develop innovative solutions.
• Analysing and reporting test activities and results, supporting data engineers and stakeholders on data analysis issues.
• Designing and implementing a data streaming service, including new data models and ETL processes.
• Ensuring successful delivery of completed data loads for customers, Data Analysts and Data Scientists; troubleshooting as needed.
• Designing, building and testing data products and solutions that are complex or large-scale through full lifecycle.
• Applying data modelling concepts to produce varied data models across multiple subject areas and guide their use.
