Job summary

Otto James Consulting is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Manager for a leading international tech firm based in Manchester City Centre. You will lead financial reporting across EMEA/APAC, review journals, manage statutory filings, and coordinate SOX controls with external advisers.

The role requires ACA/ACCA qualification and a proven track record of timely monthly reporting. Strong communication, analytical skills and a proactive approach are essential in a fast-paced global environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) is essential.
• Experience with monthly reporting and statutory deadlines.
• Ability to manage global entities across EMEA/APAC and intercompany processes.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve journal entries for EMEA/APAC.
• Review monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review intercompany billings.
• Oversee statutory filings and audits with external advisors.
• Ensure timely financial reporting deadlines.
• Prepare indirect taxes and guide direct reports.
• Coordinate SOX compliance and maintain internal controls.
• Develop policies and processes for EMEA/APAC.
• Handle ad-hoc projects and analysis.
