Job summary

Otto James Consulting is partnering with a fast-growing, PE-backed organisation seeking a Group Reporting Accountant / Financial Accountant in Manchester. The role offers exposure to quarterly consolidated reporting, valuations and cash flow management, with a focus on improving reporting processes and controls.

You will work closely with senior management, deliver timely financial information to shareholders and support the automation of reporting, while developing technical accounting

Qualifications

• Newly Qualified Accountant with post-qualification experience.
• Strong technical background and skillset.
• Experience of consolidation/ working in a multi entity environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven track record of delivering and implementing step change (passion and curiosity for improvement).

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly consolidated reporting to shareholders.
• Oversee monthly close process for group entities.
• Manage weekly group cash flow and intercompany eliminations.
• Support automation of reporting and strengthening controls framework.
• Provide technical accounting input as required.
• Interact with senior management and stakeholders to present financial information.
