Job summary

JasperRose Limited in Egham, Surrey, is seeking a Senior Finance Manager, EMEA, to lead the regional accounting function within a global technology-focused business. The role offers hybrid working (2 days in the office) and a clear path to influence policies, close processes and international reporting.

You will oversee month-end close, ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS, and mentor a team of accountants, collaborating with FP&A, Treasury and HR on strategic reporting and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with CIMA/ACA/ACCA.
• 5+ years’ industry accounting experience.
• Strong US GAAP and IFRS knowledge.
• Experience using D365 ERP.
• Experience in a global, complex business.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EMEA month-end close, covering revenue, cash, payroll, fixed assets, leases and operating expenses.
• Review complex reconciliations and journal entries, ensuring accuracy and audit trails.
• Manage, mentor and develop a team of accountants, providing technical guidance and oversight.
• Ensure accounting policies and reporting comply with Local GAAP and US GAAP.
• Partner with Finance, FP&A, Treasury, HR and other teams on reporting and business projects.
• Drive process improvements, systems projects and best-practice initiatives across the accounting function.

As Financial Accounting Manager, EMEA, you’ll take ownership of the regional accounting function, leading the month-end close, financial reporting and technical accounting.

The Role

• Lead the EMEA month-end close, covering revenue, cash, payroll, fixed assets, leases and operating expenses.
• Review complex reconciliations and journal entries, ensuring accuracy and strong audit trails.
• Manage, mentor and develop a team of accountants, providing technical guidance and oversight.
• Ensure accounting policies and reporting comply with Local GAAP and US GAAP.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant CIMA / ACA / ACCA
• 5+ years’ progressive accounting experience working within industry
• Must have strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience, with a solid understanding of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Must have experience working in D365
• Must have experience working in a global and complex business
• A hands-on, commercially minded leader with strong analytical skills, an ownership mentality and a passion for improving processes.
