Human Appeal is seeking a Group Financial Controller to lead the Group's financial control, reporting, and governance activities from a base in the UK. You will oversee consolidation across entities, ensure timely, accurate statements, and maintain robust controls while providing strategic financial insights to support growth and resilience.

The role requires a fully qualified accountant with 7+ years PQE and proven leadership in financial management, audits, and regulatory reporting.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CA, CPA, or equivalent). 7+ years PQE.
• Experience in financial control, group reporting, consolidation, and financial management.
• Proven senior finance leadership experience (Group Controller/Head of Finance).
• Experience managing external audits and regulatory reporting.
• Strong Excel skills and ERP/financial reporting systems.

Mansioni

• Lead the Group financial reporting: monthly, quarterly, annual statements.
• Manage consolidation across Group entities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain financial controls, policies, and governance frameworks.
• Oversee statutory/tax/audit requirements and coordinate external audits.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategy.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning.
• Monitor performance, identify risks/opportunities, and drive improvements.
• Manage cash flow, balance sheet, and working capital.
• Collaborate with ops/ commercial leaders to drive performance.
• Develop and coach the finance team and foster high performance.
• Support mergers, acquisitions and restructuring through due diligence.
