About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and hand-on Senior Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the financial direction of the company and ensuring strong financial governance. Experience within a multi-site or multi-unit hospitality environment (ideally restaurant chains) is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the finance team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.
• Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accounting standards.
• Develop and implement internal controls and financial policies.
• Lead finance-related transformation and improvement projects across the business.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth and profitability.
• Manage cash flow, financial risk, and investment strategies.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders as necessary.
• Ensure optimal use and integration of Sage 200 and other financial tools.

Key Requirements

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with significant post-qualification experience.
• A proactive, solutions-focused team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax regulations, and compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Experience delivering finance transformation, system upgrades, or process improvement initiatives.
• Ability to influence and drive financial strategy at an executive level.
