Building on a background in Financial Analysis and Management Accounting, as a Senior Financial Analyst, you will assist the Head of Service in overseeing routine and complex financial analyses to support medium-term financial planning, annual budget reviews, the corporate transformation programme, and other change initiatives/projects for the organization.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience of local authority budgetary control, accounting, and financial reporting
• Experience interpreting complex structures
• Experience with local government funding and medium-term financial planning
• CCAB qualification or equivalent, or substantial relevant experience
