The CF Finance team is responsible for ensuring that the planning and execution of the EU fulfilment is implemented in the most cost-effective way.

We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our team, where you will provide the visibility needed to drive Amazon forward. The Volume and Mix Finance team continuously seeks improvements in inbound and outbound metrics, including optimizing inventory placement, processing efficiencies, maximizing speed, and minimizing distance traveled, with the aim to deliver an excellent customer experience.

This role offers the opportunity to understand how business decisions are made by gathering insights to shape our future. As a Senior Finance Analyst, you should be a quick thinker, able to manage competing priorities while providing level-headed guidance, even during unexpected events.

Key job responsibilities

1. Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to drive continuous improvement in financial and operational performance.
2. Accurately report on EU-level strategic projects, sharing financial analysis with business partners, and making recommendations to reduce costs or optimize operational metrics.
3. Create meaningful reports to support strategic decision-making through data collection and analysis.
4. Conduct root cause analysis, deep dive variances to budgets for the network, and identify risks and opportunities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• A degree.
• Relevant experience in a finance role leading projects or programs and partnering with multiple stakeholders within a business.
• Experience working with Excel, reporting tools, and large-scale data mining tools such as Power BI, Python, SQL, or Tableau.
• Experience in financial modeling.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, or Economics.
• Experience troubleshooting problems and offering solutions to streamline complex challenges.
• Experience working in a large team or fast-paced, corporate environment.
• Experience making strategic business decisions and managing internal relationships.
